The PSHRE curriculum at Hollingworth is taught by all form tutors. Additionally, a number of external speakers from outside agencies are used over the course of the year to provide specialist information to pupils. A range of activities and approaches are used to deliver lessons, including using older pupils to peer teach younger pupils on social topics such as stereotypes and bullying. In addition, all pupils will have access to study and career skills tailored to their appropriate educational level.
The PSHRE rooms are each fitted with state of the art facilities such as Interactive Whiteboards and Visualisers. All pupils have access to interactive resources including learning games, interactive DVDs and practical equipment.
