Leadership Through Sport & Business
I have been contacted by Shamaine Armstrong, the Manchester Careers Development Manager for the Social Mobility Charity Leadership through Sport and Business (LTSB).
LTSB are delighted to announce that they are now RECRUITING for their Manchester Pre Apprenticeship programme to start in September 2019.
Please find further information below about who they are and how students can apply for the Leadership through Sport and Business Pre-Apprenticeship Programme.
Who are Leadership through Sport and Business?
Established in 2012 in London and now with a nationwide programme also running in Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool, LTSB is helping young leaders between the ages of 16 - 21 from our programme into work through the route of an Apprenticeship in the Business and Finance Sector.
The LTSB Pre-Apprenticeship programme runs alongside our students studying their Level 2 AAT Qualification. The programme consists of a variety of sessions such as Employability workshops, Guest Speaker sessions, Employer insight days, one to one mentoring and speed interviews to prepare them for the world of work and give them corporate exposure.
LTSB have previously placed young people in major firms such as EY, RSM, Grant Thornton, and The Cooperative Bank etc. We run in partnership with Oldham College, who deliver the level 2 AAT qualification, and City in the Community, who deliver some of sessions during the Pre-Apprenticeship programme.
Applying for the Programme
If you are a young person aged between 16 -21 who has an interest in a career in Business, Finance or Accountancy, and would be interested in joining the LTSB Pre Apprenticeship Programme in September please do get in touch!
Their online Application Portal is now available for anybody who is interested in applying for the programme. The link is below: -
I must inform you that Places are limited on our programme as we only take on up to 15 young people in Manchester per year!
