Welcome from the Headteacher
Welcome to our website! I hope that this will help you to easily access information about our school.
Hollingworth is a consistently high achieving and successful school. We were recognised by Ofsted as providing an ‘outstanding’ education for our pupils and since then the school has continued to improve. We are proud to have received, on numerous occasions, national recognition for the high level of academic progress made by our pupils and are equally delighted to have been recognised as one of only a handful of secondary schools nationally to achieve ‘Flagship’ status by Inclusion Quality Mark. In 2016, we were designated a ‘National Teaching School’ which recognised our work in staff development, training and in supporting others. I am proud to be designated a ‘National Leader in Education.’
We have amazing pupils! We have the highest expectations of them in terms of their academic achievement and behaviour; we expect them to learn and conduct themselves with respect, responsibility and resilience. They are a pleasure to work with.
We have fantastic facilities, a great staff and wonderful pupils! I hope that this gives you a flavour of our school. If you would like to know more about Hollingworth, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone, e-mail or arrange a visit.
