Exam Results Day 2019
We would like to invite all our 2019 year 11 students to attend the exam results day, on the 22nd of August 2019. Doors will be open between the hours of 10 am to 12 noon.
If you are sending someone in place of yourself to collect your results, we ask that they have a written letter of authorisation from the student whose results are to be collected. They must also bring a form of photo identification of themselves (passport/driving licence).
Summer term School Information
We break up for our summer holidays on Friday 19th July at 12pm. Please note that the buses have been cancelled for the afternoon pick-up, so pupils will need to make their own way home.
When we re-open on Wednesday 4th September 2019, we will have a later start of 11am for Years 8, 9, 10 and 11, whereas Year 7 will be in from 8.30am for a normal start. Thank-you for all your support this year and have a restful summer.
To allow for essential maintenance to take place over the summer we are asking all pupils to empty their lockers and remove their padlocks before the end of term. Any padlocks left will be removed and any items left in lockers will be disposed of. Any lost property not collected before the 19th July will also be disposed of during the summer holidays. Many Thanks.

Welcome from the Headteacher
Welcome to our website! I hope that this will help you to easily access information about our school.
Hollingworth is a high achieving, successful school. We are extremely proud that Ofsted graded us 'outstanding' in their most recent inspection. However, we are not complacent as there are always ways in which we can improve further.
We are justly proud of the high quality education we provide. We have high expectations and insist on high standards: we expect all of our pupils to work with a fantastic attitude to learning and to behave in a way which shows respect to themselves and others.
In September 2011 we were delighted to move into our brand new building, which was the result of twenty five million pounds worth of investment. This has provided our pupils and the local community with state of the art facilities in all subject areas which will enable us to further develop the academic, cultural and sporting interests of our pupils in an attractive modern environment.
I hope that this website gives you a flavour of our school. If you would like to know more about Hollingworth, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone, email or arrange a visit.
